Amstelveen, April 7th 2016 – Solvinity has reaffirmed its position as trustworthy and secure provider of High Performance Computing (HPC) in the cloud by again obtaining the certification for Service Organization Controls (SOC): measures in the area of security, availability, confidentiality, privacy and process integrity. The report is based on research performed by KPMG according to the international ISAE3402 (SOC1) and SOC2 standards.
The main benefit of the SOC research for (potential) customers is the ability to reduce or even skip the usually time-consuming due diligence procedures. With the SOC2 statement, customers are assured of services that are reliable and available according to one of the most critical standards worldwide.
Many organizations choose an audit which only covers the topic ‘security’, due to the size and the intensity of the required standards in the SOC certification. Unique in the certification of Solvinity is that the organisation, as the only one in the Netherlands, has been certified for all topics in the SOC standard, both type I (design & controls) as type II (design, controls & testing).
