More and more companies are opting for an integrated solution, from workplace services to telephony, and from application hosting to managed cloud. Imagine, for example, a local network environment combined with a fully-managed cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications, including security and backup. To realise this, Axians and Solvinity offer an integrated solution that is delivered to customers as a single service.
In the experience of Axians and Solvinity, customers prefer to see combined services as a single service. In recent years, the two companies have created several projects and services together. Axians, for example, developed various communication services such as the Flexible Cloud Workplace, several Unified Communications (UC) services, and Network-as-a-Service, around which Solvinity expanded its cloud, datacentre, and application management services in particular.
Hans van den Broek, Commercial Director at Solvinity: “The services that Axians and Solvinity provide together form a single service that requires a single point of contact. The end user is not interested in the fact that, for example, Axians provides workplace services and that Solvinity centrally and securely manages the enterprise applications in a public, private or hybrid cloud. It just wants a user-friendly application without having to worry about support or management. This reflects the demand from companies and institutions for service integration, whereby a single party manages the ecosystem.”
Based on that view, as well as on the experiences gained from various combined projects, Axians and Solvinity have started a cooperation to bring companies with 200 to 3000 workplaces properly supported and in phases to the cloud.
Tom Greeve, Director at Axians: “Cooperation is one of Axians’ core values, and it is critical in retaining success in the future. To us, the strategic cooperation with Solvinity is an excellent example of how two companies complement and reinforce each other seamlessly because their cultures and approaches show so many similarities. Together, we are successful in total IT outsourcing, and our focus lies on end-to-end service provision. By joining forces, we are better equipped to advise our customers and to help them achieve their objectives. Joint assignments for, among others, Generali, REISinformatiegroep, ONVZ and most recently “Gemeenschappelijke Regeling Rijn en Braassem”, are to us the ultimate proof that the market appreciates this cooperation.”
Van den Broek: “Solvinity and Axians have built a reputation in their own specialties. We want to retain that power while at the same time offering broad services in public, private and hybrid cloud solutions. This means that together, we deliver a comprehensive package of harmonised products that form a single service, both technically and commercially."
