Solvinity appoints Martin Maas as CISO and Paul Cattermole as DPO
Focus on security functions for further increase of security and quality
Solvinity is announcing several new appointments today. Martin Maas has been appointed CISO and will lead the Security team. Paul Cattermole will helm the Compliance department as the new DPO. Marc Guardiola will focus on strategic technological issues in a new position.
In the past period, Solvinity has grown rapidly and serves customers who are dependent on a stable and secure IT environment. In order to meet these needs optimally, we’ll be sharpening the focus in the organisation, as a result of which teams can specialise further and will therefore be able to safeguard and increase the quality of information security on an ongoing basis.
The former Security & Compliance department has been split up into two separate parts to that end. The Security team will focus fully on improving the digital resilience of Solvinity customers. This department will be under the leadership of new CISO Martin Maas. Maas has already been employed at Solvinity for 22 years and was DPO there before this.
Under the leadership of new DPO Paul Cattermole, who has been working for Solvinity as senior compliance office for 5 years, the Compliance department will focus on compliance and quality assurance. Former CISO Marc Guardiola will remain closely involved in strategic issues in the fields of security and technology within Solvinity.
“Security and compliance are, and will remain, closely interwoven themes”, according to Hans van den Broek, CEO of Solvinity. “However, we also recognise that market needs and the technological state-of-the-art are evolving extremely quickly. Thanks to these changes within Solvinity, our leaders and teams will be better able to guarantee our strict security and privacy requirements.”
